Ding-Dong Donate is a neighborhood food drive where you collect non-perishable items to donate to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. 

In February, canvass your neighborhood for peanut butter donations! We’re on a mission to collect 20,000 jars of peanut butter to help feed our neighbors in need. Because of its nutritional value, long shelf life, and widespread popularity, peanut butter is a much needed item at food banks. Help Spread the Love by donating peanut butter (or any nut butter) to the Redwood Empire Food Bank throughout the month of February.

Here’s how to host a Ding-Dong Donate:

1. Sign up by filling out the form below to receive flyers for your neighborhood. You can download general flyers here to print yourself. (Spread The Love flyers can be found here.)
2. Drop a bag with supplied instructions at your neighbors’ doorsteps. (The bag will have instructions letting people know to fill it with non-perishable foods for the Redwood Empire Food Bank.)
3. Neighbors will place their filled bag outside their front door. (We suggest giving them at least 24 hours to fill the bag.)
4. Collect the filled bags and bring them to the Redwood Empire Food Bank.
