Please consider donating beef, pork, or poultry to the Redwood Empire Food Bank’s Range to Table program to help End Hunger in Our Community.
When protein is the most expensive item on the plate, many low-income people are forced to go without it. To help put much-needed healthy protein on the table, longtime rancher Cheryl LaFranchi founded the Range to Table program and partnered with the Redwood Empire Food Bank over 20 years ago. This program provides locally raised, high-quality meat to thousands facing hunger and food insecurity right here in Sonoma County. Ranchers can choose to donate beef, pork, or poultry to the program after the animal is butchered and processed by a USDA-approved facility.
How It Works
- Choose livestock you’d like to donate.
- Consider covering the costs of the cut and wrap fees to increase the impact of your donation.
- Notify Colin Davidson, Food Resources Manager at the Redwood Empire Food Bank, at 707-523-7900 ext. 148 or email cdavidson@refb.org.
When you choose to generously donate your livestock to the Redwood Empire Food Bank you are also choosing to invest in a hunger-free community, and for that, we simply cannot thank you enough.
