Welcome to our inaugural Move Out Hunger campaign!
This February, we’re inviting the local real estate community to come together for one purpose: to help End Hunger in Our Community.
Residential, commercial, and other real estate organizations will participate in a friendly competition to see who can raise the most funds, collect the most food, and volunteer the most hours for the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Prizes (and bragging rights) will be awarded.
We hope you’ll join us in our efforts!
Dates to Know
1-13-25 | Volunteer Opportunities Open
Though Move Out Hunger officially kicks off on February 1st, we invite you to start earning volunteer points early! Sign up to volunteer at refb.org/volunteer. We encourage you to share this link and the information below with employees, friends, and family—their hours will be counted towards your team’s total when they volunteer.
Once registered for a shift, please be sure to communicate with us that you’re coming to volunteer for Move Out Hunger so we can track your points! You can either:
- Inform your team coordinator who will communicate with the Redwood Empire Food Bank to ensure your hours get logged.
- Reply to the volunteer confirmation email sent to you upon registration to indicate that you are participating in Move Out Hunger and what team you are earning points for.
You only need to notify us on your first shift of the 2025 campaign. After that, you’ll be added to your company’s volunteer team in our system and we can take it from there.
1-30-25 | Open House
Coordinators and their teams are invited to gather at the Redwood Empire Food Bank to celebrate the Move Out Hunger kick-off from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Local wine and snacks will be served. Each team is encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations.
2-1-25 | Move Out Hunger Begins
Move Out Hunger begins! Donation pages are officially open.
2-28-25 | Move Out Hunger Ends
Move Out Hunger ends. Online contributions will be accepted until midnight.
Please schedule a donation pick up if you haven’t already done so.
3-5-25 | Last Call
All cash and check donations must be received by the Redwood Empire Food Bank before 4:00 PM to be eligible for final team rankings and awards.
Move Out Hunger is a month-long competition between local real estate organizations to acquire donated food, volunteer hours, and collect monetary donations to benefit the hungry in our community.

Nicole Evans
Nicole, a UCO graduate with 16 years in customer service, is a dedicated real estate agent in Sonoma County, partnering with Rick Warner to provide exceptional client service while enjoying local activities and volunteering.
Chelsea Cambra
Born and raised in Sonoma County with a family going back seven generations in the area, Chelsea has a deep passion for people and believes it is her purpose in life to better the lives of those she encounters.

We are currently accepting 2025 Sponsorships! If you’d like to sponsor the very first Move Out Hunger campaign, please contact Shana Koehler at skoehler@refb.org.
Sponsorship Levels:
- $5,000 (Large logo recognition on printed and digital communications and at events)
- $2,500 (Medium logo recognition on printed and digital communications and at events)
- $1,000 (Small logo recognition on printed and digital communications and at events)
Sponsors will have their organization’s logo featured on the Move Out Hunger website and be recognized in campaign marketing materials.
For every $1 donated, the Redwood Empire Food Bank is able to distribute $3 worth of groceries to those in need. These special donations will also be counted towards your team’s total points for the competition. The last day to become a 2025 Move Out Hunger sponsor is January 31, 2025.
