Produce Pantry

Through weekly distributions in high-need neighborhoods, the Produce Pantry program provides participants with an average of 20-30 pounds of seasonally sourced fruits and vegetables, supplemented by healthy staple foods. Produce Pantry food distributions are open to anyone in need of assistance.

Program Impact

Seniors, families and individuals living on restricted incomes often sacrifice buying fresh produce in an effort to cut costs. By providing access to seasonal fruits and vegetables, Produce Pantry help ensure that our low-income neighborhoods in Sonoma County have consistent access to quality nourishment.

Community Reach

Our Produce Pantry sites distribute 3.3 million pounds of fresh produce and healthy supplemental items annually to an average of 3,000 households each week at more than 30 sites in nine towns throughout Sonoma County, plus eight locations in Lake County.

How You Can Help

As the largest program of the REFB, our Produce Pantry is crucial to the health and well-being of our low-income neighbors. The continuation of this program is primarily funded through individual donations from supporters like you. Make a donation today to strengthen this program and ensure all of our low-income neighbors have continued access to the nutrient-rich agricultural bounty of our region.
