Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation

Thanks to the support from the Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation, the REFB will provide fresh fruits and vegetables rich in iron and vitamin-C, healthy supplemental food items and nutrition education to families with children (0-6 years) through the Megan Furth Harvest Pantry. This program specifically addresses the diet-related health conditions of obesity and childhood anemia.

Heffernan

Heffernan Foundation

Thanks to the support from the Heffernan Foundation, the REFB will provide up to 25 pounds of healthy, nutrient-dense, fresh produce and supplemental food items to approximately 9,700 low-income people through our Farm Fresh Produce Pantries.  With 30 distributions located in 9 towns throughout Sonoma County, the REFB provides essential nutritional support to anyone in need of help.

Rotary Club

Rotary Club of Sebastopol

Thanks to the grant award from Rotary Club of Sebastopol, the REFB provides a 7-10 lbs. bag of healthy, nutritious food to 24 children at the end of each week during the school year at Park Side Elementary school. Because of combined support from The Rotary Club of Sebastopol and The Rotary Club of Sebastopol Sunrise, the REFB provides healthy groceries to a total 48 children at Park Side Elementary School through our BackPack Program.
(Grant period: September 1, 2016 – May 30, 2017)
